About Nari-O Sishu Kalyan Kendra
It is registered as a non-governmental organization (NGO) that is at the same time a non-profit-making society and was formed and governed by women of the disadvantaged community. These women aspire to dignify the lives of the destitute, marginalized and disadvantaged women and children, through a sustainable and rights-based approach.
During the last three decades, Nari-O-Sishu Kalyan Kendra has been able to expand the welfare and development activities in a number of villages, panchayats, blocks and districts of West Bengal in India.
The organization strives for excellence in equity and a gender-balanced society, capacity building of the poor, marginalized and suffering women, socially excluded and common people emphasizing children and youth.
The aspiration of Nari-O-Sishu Kalyan Kendra is a self-reliant society, based on human values like cooperation..
NOSKK aims to unfold and empower the oppressed and marginalized people to make them self-reliant and confident.
