From the 1st to the 4th of February NOSKK participated at the Milan Utsav Mela 2019 in Kolkata.

Milan Utsav is a festival showcasing signature handicrafts, cuisines and a cultural confluence of various minority communities of West Bengal.

We sold bags, sarees, and kurtis which were hand-made and hand-embroidered by women artisans from NOSKK Self-Help Groups and from our Uluberia Bunan Hastakala Producer Company limited in Haldia. Additionally, we sold our Sanitary Napkins which are produced by our Sanitary Napkin Production Unit.

It was a pleasure for us to be a part of this great festival and to meet other self-help groups and NGOs with beautiful products. We are looking forward to participate in 2020 again.
