Together with 30 adolescent girls from the sanitary napkin programme,NOSKK celebrated menstrual hygiene day, on the 27th of May. The event was organized to highlight the importance of menstrual hygiene and to raise awareness about the matter. The sanitary napkin production and NOSKK was represented by Rahima Khatun, Anjuna Pakira and Saira Begum. To start off the day, we showed the adolescent a short film about the menstrual cycle. This was followed by two speeches, one by our secretary Rahima Khatun and one by the sanitary napkin supervisor Anjuna Pakira. They talked about a lot of important facts, revolving around the menstrual cycle and hygiene. A discussion with the girls was sparked, which gave the girls a safe space to ask questions. To finish the day, all the attendees were given sanitary napkins for a lower price.
