NOSKK has performed an AWARENESS PROGRAMME about Child Right Protection, with the main focus on Early Marriage.
The programme was implemented by our guests of the Netaji Subhas Open University and supported by Girls Count.
More than 100 adolescent girls and boys as well as their parents from our community.
During this training, we especially talked about the reasons and problems of Child Marriage and how to prevent the marriage of underages.
Very actively the adolescents and parents discussed about these topics and learnt a lot about child rights violation and protection in India.
Regarding the prevention we also talked about economic empowerment and non-traditional livelihood skill training for girls.
NOSKK provides such kind of Non-Traditional Livelihood Skill Training for Girls and Women such as Mobile Repairing and Electrician Course.
Our President Salema Jahan and our Executive Secretary Tosmina Ahmed were present at the programme and contributed with some experiences sharing and important thoughts to the success of the event.
We, NOSKK want to thank the motivated trainers Kasturi Sinha Ghosh and Sheuli Dutta for this very interesting and inspiring awareness programme.
Everybody who participated in this training, now will definitely be more aware of these issues, which are still a problem in our society and will share their knowledge with their friends and family to create a save environment for all our children.
