Rehnuma “Facilitation & Entitlement Centre for Vulnerable Groups” has been  implemented in the district of Howrah aimed at the welfare of the minority communities. Rehnuma is an initiative of planning commission have been started in West Bengal on March, 2013. This has been set up as a pilot entitlement programme at NOSKK mainly to support communities to ensure their socio-economic rights and as well as facilitate in accessing schemes on social entitlements. The project is operational in 20 villages of two blocks of Uluberia and Sankrail of Howrah district.

The following activities are being carried out by the centre:

1. Spreading information about various schemes

2. Facilitating access to these schemes

3. Research on the extent of implementation of these schemes, adapting common schemes for specific needs of minority and ensuring easy access to minority specific schemes

4. Mainstreaming the focus on minority rights in the ongoing programmes of existing civil society organizations

5. Filing public interest cases if there is a need

6. Providing legal assistance to needy
